The face lift and neck lift

The Face Lift : As the tissues of the face age, the skin gradually loses its elasticity and the underlying muscles slacken, enhancing the ageing effect of a loss of volume in the middle of the face. The cheekbones become less defined, deep lines develop on the cheek and jowls appear.

Frequently, additional loose tissue develops on the neck and the angle between the chin and neck is gradually lost, removing the firm jaw line associated with youth. Facial rejuvenation surgery and necklifting are intended to correct some of these changes and restore a more rested, youthful appearance.

Procedure time : 1h15 to 3h.

General anaesthetic.

Hospitalization : 1 day.

Time off work : 8 to 15 days.
